McDonald's supports Camp Horsin' Around

Owner-operators of McDonald's in Central and Southeastern Kentucky are donating $250,000 to underwrite a cabin and its furnishings for Camp Horsin' Around. Construction of the cabin is underway at the camp site located near Perryville, Kentucky. Tyler Nahra, president of the McDonald's co-op says its an important investment for the owner-operators. "As local business owners, we recognize the importance of giving back to the community we serve," he said, adding "This project represents an investment with benefits that will make a difference in children's lives for years to come.

McDonald's owner-operator Tom Snyder, a Board member for Camp Horsin' Around, championed the cause with his fellow owner-operators. Mr. Synder matched the McDonald's gift with a personal donation of $250,000. Camp Horsin' Around is proud to accept these gifts which once again show the great commitment of McDonald's and their owner-operators who believe children should have a brighter tomorrow.

Children's Charity Donation

The Children's Charity has once again supported the mission of Camp Horsin' Around. At the June 18th KickOff luncheon the Camp was presented with a check for $5,000.
